We are now accepting pre-orders for a limited run of scutched (and lightly hackled) 100g stricks of flax. They will probably need a slight comb before dressing the distaff for hand spinning.

We dew retted, broke, scutched and hackled the fibres using the Fantasy Fibre Mill machines, in the barn less than 200 metres from where it was grown.
If you’ve never spun flax before but are curious to try, Rosie has recorded some tutorials.
Orders will close on December 9th and will be shipped by December 11th, which should give enough time for all orders to arrive at any UK addresses before Christmas. If you know a spinner, treat them to some Scottish grown flax.
Postage and packaging is added at the checkout. All products are shipped in paper packaging, so you can reuse or recycle it and give the paper a second life.
