Co-FounderI am a seamstress, farmer and flax enthusiast (spinner and weaver), currently doing a PHD in Engineering and Textiles at Heriot Watt Uni.
Nick Evans
Co-FounderI am a maker, sewer, engineer and gardener. I studied Physics and Philosophy and worked for many years as a software engineer. At Fantasy I develop machinery for small scale, decentralized textile manufacturing. Under First Principals I make clothing, textiles and natural dyes.
Jordon Masters
CTOI am a multidisciplinary professional with expertise in textile engineering, design, and horticulture. For the past three years, I have served as a Researcher and Professor in the Fashion, Dress, and Merchandising program at West Virginia University. My research focuses on sustainable textile systems, emphasizing natural dyes as specialty crops for small-scale agricultural producers and innovative fiber processing equipment to foster new economic models that connect small agriculture with textile production, supporting rural economies and environmentally responsible fashion.
Laura Schumaker
Consulting Mechanical EngineerI am a mender, mechanical engineer, textile magpie, autodidact, and descendant of Flemish flax-workers. Though usually found consulting on how to make things out of fabric, working with Fantasy Fibremill fulfills my long-time dream to work on the machinery behind the fabric, too.
